It is with a heavy heart that we announce the permanent closing of Pruneyard Cinemas and Cedar Room this coming January 25. This decision has not come easily, and it reflects the challenges we have faced over the years. We have navigated through the difficulties of the pandemic, the writer and actor strikes, and most recently, the rising costs that have made it unsustainable for us to continue.

We want to take this moment to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who has been a part of our journey:

• To our dedicated employees: Your passion and commitment have made Pruneyard Cinemas and Cedar Room welcoming places. Thank you for your hard work and unwavering spirit.
• To our talented entertainers: You have filled our spaces with laughter, music, and creativity, sharing your incredible talents with us and our guests. Your contributions have truly enriched our community.
• To our vendors: Your support and partnership have been invaluable in helping us deliver memorable experiences.
• To our wonderful guests: Thank you for voting us the #1 theater in the South Bay for 5 out of the last 8 years. Your loyalty and enthusiasm have meant the world to us.

We sincerely hope you enjoyed our unique theater and live music venue as much as we cherished having you with us. It has been a privilege to serve you and be part of such a vibrant community. While this chapter closes, we are grateful for every moment we've shared. Thank you for making Pruneyard Cinemas and Cedar Room more than just a theater and restaurant bar lounge and home for live music - you made them community gathering places that will be remembered fondly for years to come.
