Come see Emily Van Dyke LIVE!
Emily Van Dyke is a San Francisco-based stand-up comedian whose sharp, self-deprecating humor draws from her Midwest roots, cultural clashes, and the absurdities of modern life. Born and raised in Logansport, Indiana, she traded small-town hoops for Bay Area bustle over a decade ago, turning the culture shock into punchlines about relationships, adulting, and everything in between.
With a career spanning more than 10 years, Van Dyke has headlined at venues like the Punch Line Comedy Club and DNA's Comedy Lab, opened for Colin Quinn, and performed in SF Sketchfest (2017, 2020). She's the winner of the Walk the Plank Comedy Competition and created Flirting with Laughter, a comedy dating show dubbed "Best Tinder Alternative" by San Francisco Magazine. Her acting credits include roles in Fergus in Hell and Alex. In 2024, she released her debut album Feeling Myself via Blonde Medicine, a hilarious "zoom-out" on life from teaching high school art (where students nicknamed her "Ms. V.D.") to pandemic reflections—available on streaming platforms and praised for its goofy, relatable edge. Catch her live in 2025, including an October show at the Punch Line.
